What is No-Till Farming?
No-till farming is the use of dead plant material not used in the harvest. This organic material is left to decompose in the soil returning the nutrients back to the soil, decreasing the need for fertilizers.
Why No-Till Farming will Help
One of the farmer problems we discuss was soil. Winds, water runoff, and simply tractors blowing away the soil will remove much of its precious topsoil...that took millions of years to create. Nature's creation that took millions of years, is being eroded by man in a matter of months.
